Tuition and Scholarships: Kindergarten

Denver Public Schools offers scholarships and tuition credits for full-day Kindergarten through the 2003 Mill Levy, State funding, and other sources. The first half of the Kindergarten day is free, regardless of your family income. For the second half of the day, your child's tuition rate depends on your family size and income. Families are automatically considered for scholarships and tuition credit when they fill out the application and supply all the correct documentation. If parents don't provide all documentation you will be assessed the full tuition rate. Please see the below tuition chart to see how much tuition you will pay.

Children are only eligible for scholarships and tuition reductions if:

  • They are Denver residents. Non-Denver residents must pay full tuition
  • Parents fill out the Kindergarten application and all required documentation

Please note that tuition rates for 2009-2010 may differ from those outlined below.
