LOCATIONSKEY FOR 2007-2008 EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION Early Childhood Education services are offered in DPS and Community Site locations for children who are four-years-old on or before October 1 of the year of enrollment. For 2007-2008 Early Childhood Education is provided in every DPS elementary school except Bromwell, Slavens, and Polaris at Ebert. Program space is limited and parents should contact the Early Education Departmente at (720) 423-8213 or the local school site for more information. A limited number of elementary schools offer developmentally appropriate programs for children who are three-years-old on or before October 1 of the year of enrollment. Click on the DPS Boundary Locator above. KINDERGARTEN A half-day of kindergarten education is provided to parents free of charge at neighborhood DPS schools. Subject to availability and Board of Education policy, every DPS elementary school also offers at least one full-day kindergarten class. Contact your neighborhood school for details. EARLY CHILDHOOD IN COMMUNITY AGENCIES Denver Public Schools contracts with various community child care agencies for the provision of Early Childhood Services to eligible families.
